This is my “rescued” gallery, all the animals in here have been injured in one way or another. Most of the birds have lost an eye or wings that never worked after they were hurt and are in captivity because they could not function properly in the wild. I was happy to get the chance to be close to them and worked hard to try and capture the beauty of these animals without focusing on the scars left behind by their injuries. The funny this is, they all seemed to pose for me as if saying, “Hey look at me, I'm still beautiful!”
